Actually, I didn't. I said that your arguement and presence here is weaksauce. Learn the artform of reading comprehension.
Ok- hey, thanks for the advice Stewo. I'll work on that comprehension thing.

Just so everyone is clear, especially Iowa fans who are new to the site.
Just wondering what language it is where "several" and "zeroo" have the same meaning. One would think that if "several" suggestions were to be offered, at least one would follow.
No one forces you to post here.
I'm aware that it's sacred law inscribed from the holiest orders of Hawkdom, that to achieve eternal sports fan salvation from the blessed wing of Herky himself that Hawk fans are required to annoy and pester Cyclone fans, and act like ******, all to further glorify the almighty Hawkeyes, but you could take a break every once and awhile, you know, if you find Cyclone fans POVs to be bothersome.
WTF difference does it matter who beat Iowa? Forget that it was Iowa, but if the #4 9-0 BCS team that needed 3 more wins and a Texas loss isn't a serious contender to play for the national title could you explain what makes a serious contender?
It does happen, you're right. But, since you seem to know the case on a professional level, please inform us as to why his court date has now been pushed back twice? His pretrail was originally scheduled for Jan 6th, one day after the Orange Bowl game. I know that it was just recently that his trial was pushed back again. While this all may seem to be one huge coincidence, it seems a bit far fetched.
I find the "guilt before innocence" POV to be bothersome, along with the theory that that the U of I athletic program and the Johnson county legal system are busom buddies. I find those points of view bothersome.
Serious title contenders can beat mediocre teams like Northwestern. Iowa can't. Next question.
I guess we're just pretending that Iowa didn't lose their starting quarterback early in that game?![]()
The term, falls on deaf ears, would be most appropriate here.

I'm not sure how many people really believe the "guilt before innocence", but it's frustrating to many that when an Iowa player is arrested, the trials are frequently pushed back, and when an ISU player is arrested (ala Berryman), they're quickly dealt with.
There might be perfectly legitimate reasons that Clayborn's trial has been so ridiculously delayed. It's also incredibly possible that he's getting some kind of preferential treatment. Hawk fans act like it's impossible for the legal system to be manipulated if some powerful people want it to be. It's possible that due to Clayborn's status, he's not being dealt with the same way as others. It doesn't mean that's the case, but the only way the situation doesn't seem slightly suspicious is to those wearing blinders.
No excuse. See ISU/kNU.
I thought you wanted to be a lawyer? I find it curious that you have this jaded view of the legal system.
I see your point but I think it's a different animal when it happens during the game than before the game when you can prepare the kid all week in practice.

As for your insinuation, I think it would hold more water if Clayborn himself had a lot of money. Those are the people who can generally exploit the holes in the legal system.
And yes, I find it extremely hard to believe that judges consider what team the guy plays for when deciding the case. There are a lot of things I could see judges being somewhat biased for/against but this isn't one of them.
