You'd be wrong. Unless wearing ISU clothes is provoking, then yes.
I have to laugh at this thread because I was going to start something just like it.
I was at the gym the Monday after Sanderson announced he was going to Penn State. I had on a t-shirt I had gotten from the Big 12 b-ball tournament. As I was walking out of the locker room I heard some say "Penn State". I kept walking.
As I was doing my reps on the bench press, I heard someone say "Penn State" again. I never said a word. I was on the leg press and someone walked by and said "Penn State". This time I was able to look up and saw who said it -- and he WAS wearing an Hawkeye t-shirt. This guy was like in his late 30s early 40s
I never said a word each time. I thought it was pretty immature and funny that a grown man would act like a punk 12-year-old.
So the argument can be made that just because he was wearing an Iowa t-shirt doesn't make him an Iowa fan. My answer to that just because I was wearing an ISU t-shirt doesn't make me an Cyclone fan.
