CGC..

Did Vegas predict us to go bowling the other three times CPR took us bowling? You know they can and do change those odds often though out the season right?

So you flip a coin that lands heads three times in a row, does that change the odds from 50%?

Why didn't they fix it before last year then?

You can't just fix injuries. The fact that you believe you can says a lot. You can convince yourself of anything.

Our strength coach left our team and we hired his protege? Are we convincing ourselves that Oyster is going to be far better or that McKnight was forced out? How are we spinning that as a positive?
I'm far from a Kool-Aid drinker, but I've heard that many within the program think Oyster has been an upgrade from McKnight...

Thier odds have literally zero effect on our outcome.

Who said they did? Odds don't effect outcomes, they are predictions of outcomes.

And ISU's floor this year being 6-6 has to be several standard deviations from the mean when it comes to possible outcomes this year.

Oklahoma 2/3
Baylor 11/4
Texas 7/1
Kansas State 10/1
Oklahoma State 10/1
TCU 14/1
Texas Tech 28/1
West Virginia 66/1
Iowa State 100/1
Kansas 100/

TCU was supposed to finish 6th last year according to Vegas. You fail.

just for the record. Shane B is on record saying they might have made a mistake recruiting Jeremiah George when they saw him in 2011...then a year later he was all big 12 and is in the NFL. Some guys a light just goes on and they get it at this level. Some get it right away. Here's to hoping Harris gets it now.

Any number of those things can happen this year. My point is that I find it highly unlikely that is ALL happens.

People removed from reality can easily just look at everything and move it positively, but the fact is that in the real world, there are usually just as many steps back and negatives as there are steps forward and positives.

Especially on the ISU football team the past two years.

Lmfao man. This is an outstanding performance.

BTW I'd love a link.

Maybe someday if you pay attention to football long enough you'll understand how to see talent and potential on your own. I'm not saying this is a Big12 Championship team, but it's going to be competitive in most of its games and should be at least 6-6. How is that sunshine pumping you ****** bag?
saying this team should be at least six and six is completely sunshine pumping. Of course it could happen but to say "at least" is running the pump on full blast. Do I have to explain what at least means?

OK, I haven't been in that many football threads lately, just been watching this one because it's peculiarly entertaining to me...but can someone fill me in, since it seems like the same people having the same arguments for like 3 pages, and it's the same stuff I'd see in similar threads...is that what it pretty much is?

Every football thread is the same thread.

Two weeks from Saturday and there will be something real to talk about. That's all I got.
