There is alot to be said for the differences between coaching college VS the NFL game. That said the list of coaches who have taken the shot when offered is much longer than those that have said no. History has also proven that it's tough to judge what's in a coaches heart based on public comments.
When you think about it if OSU, ND, and the Browns all have openings it would be the absolute PERFECT storm for Campbell to leave. If all 3 of those jobs open and he's still here come next September then I think it's realistic to think he's here for the long haul.

Not saying he can’t leave us, but find the video of Synder and Campbell meeting before the game last night. He ain’t going anywhere based off that conversation
This isn’t correct. Not many NFL coaches come from the college ranks.
That's not what I'm saying. Im saying when college guys get NFL offers they usually take them.

What was it?
He’ll make way more than that.If he stays for 15yrs, he makes over $60M in lil ol Ames
No ****. A team isn’t going to publicly make it known they’ve made an offer unless they’re sure they’re going to sign the deal. In the NFL or college. Your point makes no sense. How many times have you seen a team anywhere publicly make an offer to a coach and get turned down?[/QUOTE]
Tennessee last year about 3 times comes to mind.

Audio isn’t great, but you can clearly hear “you’re an inspiration to me” from Campbell
I think CMC is more likely to take the Browns job if offered, than the OSU job.
Campbell sounds like a man who would like to build Iowa State into what Bill Snyder built at K-State. Both men obviously have a lot of respect for each other. You could feel it.
