Will CMC go to Cleveland?

"Learn not to stay so long." After Campbell tells him how much he's learned from him. Basically telling him not to keep coaching until you're almost 80.

Probably also a reference to retiring, and then feeling compelled to return after his beloved institution hired Ron Prince to immediately sink his legacy. He bore the burden of both creating KSU football and bringing it back again to sustain it. Lesson is: have a good transition plan in place.

It depends on what you are asking. If you are picking one guy to be the head of your program right now going forward there's no question he's the best guy. If you are looking at an overall resume there is no question he's not as accomplished yet as Ferentz.
Could you go through your thought process when you chose to add "cy" in your username?

No offense, but if you see how he runs things and the quick turnaround he has had here. You are stupid to not take interest in him. He handles himself like a veteran and unlike many in the profession, he doesn't seem like a tool.

Thank god we have this thread. The one three threads down on the same board with the same link talking about the same thing wasn’t enough. Anyone want to post a third one with the same link?

Matt Campbell has the chance to do something no one has ever done before at Iowa State. Campbell may eventually leave. But I do not see it happening right now. He has a Freshman QB in Purdy who is truly something special. And next year could be special. The Browns job will always be there because they continually suck. Coaching graveyard.

This. Cleveland is a coaching graveyard, and Campbell ain't dead yet. Snyder, on the other hand...
