2017 Football schedule

And again... as others have said. There is ONE guy who said that and he's got ISU going freaking 9-3. Another one gave ISU a win if Snyder isn't there and lets be honest... its not out of the realm of possibility if Snyder isn't on the sidelines.

Bill Snyder's going nowhere. Ku's beat writer, Tom Keegan, puts it in perspective.

He’ll retire when he reaches a point where he thinks life in retirement will be more enjoyable than life as a coach who obsesses on every little detail that leads to winning plays. Maybe that’s after K-State’s bowl game. Maybe it’s a few years from now. But this job means more to him than a number and so does his life outside the job. He'll walk when he wants to change his work/life balance and not when a nice round number (200 wins) is reached.

Yeah I agree, I wish we would try to do the SEC thing when we're doing the road leg of our home-and-home games and stick them in November.
Don't forget they only have to play 8 conference games as well.

Ive always wondered if the Big 12 would benefit more to start conference play in Week 3, and have 4 conference games on the docket each week in weeks 3-12, and 5 in week 13. That would leave every team between weeks 3 and 12 to play 8 conference games, one non-con game, and one bye week.

"Bill Snyder's going nowhere".....followed by posting an article that literally says "maybe it's after the bowl game" when talking about retirement.

ISU fans longing for Bill to retire is just wishful thinking. Even when Bill's body gives out, his brain will be placed in a cyborg exoskeleton, or his soul will inhabit the young, sprucey flesh of a more able-bodied buck. Science or magic will make this happen purely to torment Cyclones with close, agonizing losses for all of eternity.

Have never suggested otherwise. ISU sees K-State as a football rival. The games are always competitive, it seems. Even when the Cats had far superior talent, that was often the case. My point remains, however, that anyone projecting an ISU win in MHK next season is simply not facing the brutal facts. This will be a very strong and seasoned K-State outfit. And the game will be played in The Bill.
We do?

Another day, another inane K-State focused conversation . . . with no news about the 2017 schedule.

Whenever it comes down to 'Who do you most want to beat?', K-State's name is prominent. Yes, I believe ISU fans, generally, want to beat K-State more than any other conference team. Are you denying that?

Its prominent because we have lost 9 straight by a slim margin and we all see it annually as a winable game that we lose. To say we want to beat KSU more than any other team in the conference is laughable.

If Snyder does retire. ISU is in good position right now to take advantage. That would make both Baylor and Kstate trending down, Tech about the same so beatable and ISU hopefully trending up. That makes 4 winnable games every year plus they should be winning at least 2 non con games a year. This is predicated on ISU getting better of course but the opportunity is there.

I'd take Kansas over K-State any day, but that's basketball-driven.

I'd rather beat OU. I would put WVU and Texas up there for recruiting purposes too. KSU doesn't move the needle besides adding more wins.

Teams I'd like to beat ahead of KSU

1. Oklahoma
2. Texas
3. Oklahoma State
4. West Virginia

Never thought I'd see the day where K-State fans are acting like high-and-mighty Iowa fans. We now have 2 super bowls against run-of-the-mill programs!

Yes, I'm denying that.

Planning to go to Akron to tailgate and hoping 2015 returns to his home town for the game.

I'm hoping to travel out to Akron with my brother as well. Maybe we will stop by with some beers wherever the Clones are tailgating.

I will DEFINITELY be heading to Akron, have had that date circled since it was announced (and re-circled when we switched years to be @Akron). Working with all my friends who went to Akron to try and get a big tailgate setup. Though the city of Akron has some funny rules in the surrounding area of the stadium I believe.
