COACHING SEARCH: Campbell up, Fleck down

Good to know we're still using the criteria that caused us to pass on Jim Harbaugh because of his naughty language. We're going to get exactly what we deserve yet again. Honor Instead of Victory.

What do you all think of this guy?

"Scrapped and rebuilt" implies that there was something there to begin with. If we're being brutally honest about the history of Iowa State football, we've got a foundation, maybe some framing up. This is a building job, and we need a general contractor. The best interior decorator in the...

What do you all think of this guy?

Here's the thing with Liepold. Bob Berezowitz was at Whitewater for 30+ years. They were D-III runner-up in 2005 and 2006, then Liepold took over and won a bunch of titles. He didn't have to build anything, he got tossed the keys to a sports car and didn't crash it. Pass.

What was the beginning of the end?

This is actually a pretty easy answer. Jake Knott's shoulder injury. Prior to the 2012 Baylor game, Rhoads was around 0.500 (23-23?). Since then, 9-31.

Go ahead Penn State, argue with the judge about the sentence. There's no way this plan can backfire!

    Update on Away Game Tickets

Once the ISU ticket office is done taking orders for away games, they sell the remainder of the allotment back to the home school. Ordering now through ISU is a guaranteed spot in the ISU section (and a closer spot than if you order later) and is good for the university. However, if you...

    New York City

Hit NYC last year the weekend of 9/11 before going up to Boston and back down for the UConn game the weekend later. We did the NY Sightseeing buses and it worked out pretty good, it's good for getting your bearings and the tour guides tend to drop some good tips. -If you want to do the WTC...

    Who's drinkin' tonight?

Titos is some good stuff. Polished off three quarters a bottle of orange and spice mead tonight, now enjoying my new firepit with some scotch.

    Cyclone Room

Sitting in one. I had a rough time getting the exact right colors. Someone on this forum said before that you can go to Menards and ask for Iowa State red and get a real good match. I think one of the paint companies (Glidden?) has a complete line of paint specifically matched to...

See, your mistake here was respecting UConn. Any respect I had for UConn got left in East Hartford last September.

    Homebrewers, UNITE!

I use a Bayou Classic turkey fryer I bought at Lowes. Works just fine for me, though that Blichmann floor burner that 00clone posted makes me want to upgrade. (Side note to 00 - did you get the leg extensions for that burner?) I have a 30-quart pot I got from my LHBS and it works fine for...

    Homebrewers, UNITE!

I've been brewing for a couple of years now, and I've never had a bottle-conditioned beer ready after three weeks. Four usually does it. Before I switched to kegging, I had my timing pretty much locked down. One week in primary, two in secondary, four in bottles. Oh, and if you haven't...
