Truth those yahoo's should just accept what they got and tuck there tail and hide in the corner for 4 years.

Go ahead Penn State, argue with the judge about the sentence. There's no way this plan can backfire!
I can't go there anymore. Their Scout board just blows me away with how stupid those people are. I had to quit visiting the site.

It sounds like this was confirmed separately by both Mark Emmert of the NCAA and Rodney Erickson of PSU.
My read of that was just that the board of trustees was ticked off that Erickson agreed to the sanctions without the board's consent. I imagine that the meeting tonight was damage control and some "don't you ever pull this **** again" haranguing of the president by the board. They'd be pretty damned stupid and irrational to start challenging the sanctions themselves if the alternative is a 4-year death penalty...

Yeah, go ahead and get indignant now. See if you can't burn down that last shred of integrity left (I'm not convinced there is any). Personally, I'd like to see harsher penalties.
