Yeah, I feel so bad for the bride. For as much as I've whined about their decisions (which more and more sound like the mom's wants), I still want them to enjoy their own wedding and do what they want. And picking a dress should be fun, not make you feel bad about yourself.
It didn't, but it still contains a scene that chokes me up every time - the juxtaposition of Admiral Greer's funeral with the annihilation of the special ops team in Colombia.
I actually pulled this on my first set of cards while playing CAH at our tailgate this weekend. Just as I did, the couple who owns the set said when they played, if you really wanted to replace a card, you could. Yep, replaced that card.
That made for some awesome video, seeing the East Germans in a dead-on sprint for the gate. From what I remember, no one knew anything like that was going to happen. They just woke up one morning, and on the news they said "Wall's open, effective immediately." (If I'm wrong, please correct me)

Found a new cartoon for the kiddos this morning. "Dive Olly Dive". Of note: Narwhal in one of the episodes, and Dr. Kate is awfully 'voluptuous' for a kid's cartoon. 
the mom is usually a very nice person - definitely more controlling than I would want but not a bad person at all. Something about weddings makes it easy for people involved (not the couple) to lose track that it's not their decision to make.
Ugh. Monday after a 4 day mini vacation can go burn in fire. On the plus side, only 1 to 6 more months in Florida if things go according to plan after my interviews.
I can certainly think of worse things than skipping 1 more winter and getting 1 more year of ultra cheap tags for my car.
I can report that there are no pregnant hookers in the fitness room in the federal court house.
I had the WTF? reaction late Saturday too. After trick or treating, getting the kids to bed and 2 episodes of House of Cards I checked the score and opened the story to make sure the score was accurate. It must have been about Midnight.
Seeing this and the freeing of Nelson Mandela were two of the most incredible things to see. Absolute triumphs of freedom that made you really appreciate living in the USA.
No pregnant hookers at the planet fitness here, but there are people eating tootsie rolls.
