hawk fb program headed to the bottom

I'm personally still on board with the initial post, at least as far as the Hawk football program goes. If they played in any other conference, hell the other division in their own conference, this wouldn't have been bumped by a Hawk fan. The West is terrible and I'd argue that from top to bottom, the Mac is as tough as the Big 10 West is.

Iowa my look good on paper and they'll have a nice resume at the end of the season, more than likely making the B1G championship game, but their last 2 losses of the season will prove what the West is all about. A bunch of mediocre teams, and a bunch of really bad teams battling it out.

That being said, I'm still not going to say ISU would be doing any better in that conference. Iowa may drop a couple of WTF games during the season, but ISU historically loses games they had a good chance to win. The big difference between Iowa and ISU is that they do tend to find ways to pull close games out more than not.

And being in the Big 12 isn't the reason ISU is so bad. We'd be right there with Illinois and Purdue, hoping not to finish last.

When you are a Hawkeye fan pretending to be an ISU fan yes I think it makes your fan base look bad. I would think you would agree with that

It happens often on both sides and in other rivalries. Your fanbase looks plenty bad.

You are very adamant that Twilight is an Iowa fan. Just as you and the other ISU fans here make other generalizations and assumptions. I have to say that I don't take them too seriously.

Yeah, I'm such a big Iowa fan because I constantly call you turds out on your BS.. got me! I've made my position pretty clear. I kinda like the Hawkeyes. I pay a significant sum of money to be a student here. I graduated from ISU with degrees in econ and finance. Why can't I like both schools?

I am quite pleased Iowa is doing well & it is being linked to Fearantz reinventing himself. More has to do with their schedule & playing 1 or 2 teams with a pulse to date than any real change in strategy or philosophy. Harbaugh & Rudock played non-con of Utah, Oregon St, BYU, & UNLV. Iowa had us, Ill St, Pitt, & No Texas. This will keep Kurt at Iowa & that is very good for ISU. B1G soon to be OSU, the 2 Michigan schools, & everybody else.

Really not sure where 'little bro' comes from there.. Maybe you have the reading comprehension skills of a fourth grader, or maybe you're a troll..

Either way though, here you are concerning most of your working day with Iowa Hawkeye Recruiting.. That seems like a little brother tendency to me. You literally post there 10 times a day. Do you have a job? No way I'd hire you.

You can like both schools if you want I guess but that's a pretty rare thing. Actually you very well might be the only person who would openly make that claim. I think you're mainly just an iowa fan due to the fact that I've never seen you say anything positive about ISU and anytime there's a disagreement between the two sides, you side with the halk. How would we come up with a silly idea like you being an iowa fan?

You don't claim to be an ISU fan. At least, not in the sense that Twilight does. I think you aren't an ISU fan, but you don't want us to be bad either. And I can accept that.

Twilight seems to thrive on us being bad. I'm critical of Rhoads, but I'm a Cyclone through and through. I cheer for us to win every game and am disappointed when we lose. I don't think Twilight is.

This board spends a lot of time worrying about who is a fan of who.

I would think isu fans would embrace anyone who is willing to jump on board the sinking ship.

You realize Iowa was 4-1 after 5 games last year, right?
Except this year is completely different. Minn lost RB & TE to NFL. Wisky: Gordon in NFL. Nebby lost RB to NFL. Not 1 of these teams are better offensively from last season. Pitt lost best RB to injury. B1G West offenses are not good. Perfect storm for Iowa. Question is, will they take advantage? Did Kurt last time? Not really. Don't think he will this time at this point in his career. But hey, enjoy he big time match ups in Kinick this year.
