Sports reference I can't stand: "It is what it is." I've seen too many players or coaches use this to get out of answering a question.Worst sports reference: "At the end of the day". I hear it way too much and it is completely overused.
Worst saying that is botched: "It's a mute point." It's flipping MOOT son!
I'm out.
This. My family that lives in Minnesota is always asking, "When are you going to come down for a visit?"
I, too, can't stand "this", and I do it myself unfortunately."This."
I have never thought of this, but it is true."Back and forth." How do you go back if you haven't gone forth. Shouldn't it be "forth and back"?
Add "FML" and "LOL" to that.YOLO....end thread
"Can I be honest with you?"

I hope you mean in all instances. And "fail" in most instances.
I hope you mean in all instances.
"Take a leak," "take a dump," or "take a crap." Almost every time I hear one of these phrases, it is a TMI situation, and certainly every time I hear one of them, it is factually inaccurate. If anything, they are *leaving* the crap, not taking it.
I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet, but one that annoys me a lot is "taking my talents to ..." Lebron was mocked endlessly for saying it, and yet now it's said all the time.
