On That Note: City to City

Welcome back to "On That Note," a CF music series hosted by @MeanDean , @cyclones500 and me.

This week we are looking at songs that either in the title or lyrics mention names of cities. If your submission includes cities in the lyrics please post what cities are mentioned above your video.

Please Do NOT include bands or artists that have a city name (examples: Boston, Chicago, John Denver), unless, of course, they have songs with city references.

This new video and the details released by Pollard seem to point things in this direction.

One poster has noted that the band led out with their “Sousaphones” which I believe is a nerd word for Tubas. The poster watched many other Iowa band videos and noticed that at no other time were the “Sousaphones” the lead out instrument.

Was this an intimidation tactic being that “sousaphones” are large metal objects?

Do these instruments require wild swinging to be played properly?

This kid is a sophomore?

“With all the success I’ve experienced, especially in a college town where football hasn’t been successful in the past, everyone glorifies what I do on the field. I’m challenged to stay humble. When others start hyping me up, I am tempted to think I’m greater than I really am. I need to remember that, just as Christ was, I’m here on earth to serve others, not myself,” Purdy said.
