Well, after many years of buying, begging, and building, I have completed my Cyclone mini helmet collection. Looking at them brings back many memories for me and I hope it does for you as well.

As I get older, it's a little sad to see things associated with my childhood disappear. As a kid, I remember a friend that showed how cutting out her knees the same size as the butter she was holding and moving it up, gave us the closest thing we could get to a dirty picture. Kids nowadays don't need imagination they just jump on the internet and find things I could never imagine!

Since so many people are stuck at home, I am guessing others' pets are having a field day with all of the attention (or annoyed with your presence, if you have cats). Show us your pictures of your pet(s)! Extra bonus points if you have a fun story.

This is our cavachon, Hazel - we got this expensive little butthole because of my allergies, and we adore her.

Here's a photo of her before a trim, after a trim when she was super cold so we had to put her in a sweater, and then a poster of her that I got to annoy Janny by putting in the bar area.

We have had a lot of success with guys from Indian Hills, they had another top 5 team and in the last couple of years have had guys go to some major programs. Kansas, Virginia to name a couple. Being from ottumwa and an indian hills alum I still follow their basketball and I have not heard of any Iowa state coaches down there to even look at a player. Please discuss

I milked every season I could out of my old CharBroil but now. it's time to replace it.

I know Weber is considered the best of the best but has anyone bought a non Weber brand lately from a big box store and been happy? I'll probably end up with a Weber but wanted to see if there is another brand I should strongly consider. Given current times spending $800+ on a grill when you could spend $400 and get just as good of one is something to look at.

SyFy channel is showing a marathon of Xena Princess Warrior every Thursday in April - enjoying a few episodes today.

We used to watch this all the time - Lucy Lawless was awesome! This is great bad TV. Xena and Hercules as well. Man, I miss those shows.

Hey guys just wanted to announce that we will be returning to the TBT Tournament this summer!! (Provided we play of course) and will be announcing the team tomorrow at 12 noon on our twitter page at @iowatbt.

We have a roster of 10 guys that we are excited about. 2 Cyclones, 2 Hawkeyes, 2 Bulldogs, 1 other and 3 "Grad Transfers". I have worked closely with both Jeff Horner and Marcus Fizer recruiting what we think is a far more competitive team than last year that you guys will be excited about. Unfortunately we are not able at this time to get a UNI player, I will say it was not for a lack of trying. Our call list for this year was over 120 players in total!

We also have a lot planned for you as fans. We will do our typical marketing week for each player leading up to the tournament, helping you get to know them better, but now we will have more giveaways! Autographed balls, Trivia Day to win an autographed Iowa United practice jerseys, Beer gift cards (Mmmmm...Beer), and a community event to meet the players, coaches and staff.

Kysen Terukina just signed with Iowa State. Younger brother of former wrestler Shayden Terukina. Ranked #95 overall on the Flo big board, but he has a ton of upside. Very good late addition to the class!

Not a big surprise, given her very limited playing time. This leaves us with three post players on the roster for next season. Fortunately they should all be solid contributors at least.

Let’s do this again...

The Netflix interview with the Unabomber was a pretty good show. Not as gripping or tear jerking as some of the other documentaries out there, but interesting and informative for sure. A nice mix of the storyline and interviews with family members or people that knew him along with a pretty rare interview from Ted himself.
