How so? Do you actually have any proof of that? Him delaying a decision a week or two kills recruiting? Our inability to get a big man transfer so far has little to do with Hoiberg and everything to do with a lack of playing time. 5th year transfers aren't looking to come off the bench.
The recruitment of 2016 guys is far from over. It's not like they have a deadline this week to make a decisions. They have plenty of time to wait to see what Hoiberg does and wait to see who the next coach is (if there is one).
Do you actually know enough about recruiting to KNOW that this is killing our chances with players, or are you just repeating the complaint you've heard from other posters? Have you talked to recruits to know first hand that this is hurting out chances with them?

http://www.desmoinesregister.com/st...lip-saunders-minnesota-timberwolves/27597193/Recruiting is in a holding pattern, and maybe that's putting it nicely. One-and-done graduate target Tyler Harris last week picked Auburn over Hoiberg's offer.
Michigan grad transfer Max Bielfeldt has visited Nebraska and Indiana since touring the Iowa State campus on April 25.
"Iowa State is definitely still on my list," Bielfeldt told The Register on Tuesday. "It's still one of my really good options."
He said he'd like to decide this week, if possible.
"Waiting to see what's going on with coach Hoiberg is part of it," he said. "It's tough to go someplace for one year with a coaching change. If there's a change — it would depend on who comes in. Iowa State is going to be good next year, no matter what, though."
Two scholarships are available for next season. Six are available for 2016-17, if no one on the current roster leaves. And that's always a possibility.
