I would have thought so too, but with all the "The Big Ten is just ******" posts, it really appears that some are just too scared to give Iowa any credit whatsoever.

i dont see the irony that you are refernecing

a. The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.

But stats say one thing... the play on the floor says another.... THAT is irony.

I didn't expect all of the Big 10 hate to start when Iowa started playing well since ISU has been playing well. Guess I was wrong. The Big 10 is a very good conference...I don't think they are going to perform up to expectations in the tourney, but they are the best conference IMO (by a little bit).

No jealousy here. Marble and White (bangs and shoots decently) are developing. Gatens sees the end and is turning it on. Plus Wisky isn't having their best game. There's some good teams in the Big 10 but plenty of flaws.

Plenty of flaws in the Big XII too. Look at Mizzou ... Not much depth. In the tourney it could hurt them. Baylor -- not disciplined enough. Kansas ... not sure what their weaknesses are (3- pt range?). I-State, no point guard. etc.

edit to note: we have about 4 guys that can finish with authority at the rim. not seeing that in this game.
