Iowa has ****ed Wiscy's game plan. Wiscy isn't an offensive team. They win by defense and it has sucked today.

Who's the short white kid on the Hawkeye bench that looks like he's Matt Gaten's little dweeb brother and freaks out every time he shoots?
That's the thing about the Big 10, outside of OSU/MSU its just a bunch of Gatens running around. :SLEEP:
Put an athletic defender on him and you can easily shut him down. The Big 10 doesn't have many of that type of athlete, their defense is all based on a team system rather than having one or two lockdown defenders.

I would. I think Babb could handle Gatens on any night except for tonight. I think he would contain him better than Wisconsin has, but he'd still probably be in upper teens easily given how out of his mind he's been playing. It would gives us trouble on a night like tonight, but I think we'd eek out the win. I also think on most other nights we handle Iowa easily.
it's only been one game since they lost to Penn State, They'll probably finish strong, come into next season thinking they're going to be good, and then go 7-11 in the Big 10.
This. There only winning because of gatens and babb would shut him down no doubt. Plus we match up very well with them. NTM wiscy is vastly overrated and they scare no one
Iowa State would still beat Iowa. Iowa is winning this game mostly because Gatens is hitting everything and therefore opening up the floor for everybody else. Babb would make sure that wouldn't happen.
