Parking at Hilton>Parking around Wells.

Yeah, if you dont know what you are doing at Wells. The parking couldnt be any simpler there. Ive never waited to get in or out of my spot, not the same when Ive went to Ames for a game. The walk takes exactly the same amount of time either way.

In fact, the last time I was in Ames a couple weeks ago for a game they wouldnt even let us park clear out at the end of the main Hilton lot. They made us go clear on the side by that Alumni center. There were barely any cars even out there, I guess you have to be privelaged to park that far away from Hilton now.

It really isn't that much of a stretch to believe there are people willing to pay $75 for a chance to watch ISU live on the lower level, is it? They aren't going to get that opportunity at Hilton unless they happen to know someone.

Thinking it’s wise to try and grow ISU’s market share in the DSM metro area by supporting an event in DSM with the other 3 local D1 programs is what’s shortsighted as hell.

Anybody making a big deal about parking at Wells Fargo simply doesnt know what they are doing. If you try to filter into the main Wells lot like every other guy from Davis county you are going to be frustrated. If you simply take advantage of the thousands of other parking spots in the area its really quite simple.

We only went once due to a bad experience with drunk Iowa fans who sat in front of us. I imagine it happens in the other direction as well. There was an elderly couple in front of us, and the fans kept dropping the "F" bomb. My wife asked them to watch their language, and it escalated to the point of one of them telling me to "control my wife." That didn't go over well with her.

I disagree. There are tons of places to park down town DSM and then utilize the skywalks. I have real issues with how the parking lot is "utilized" up at Hilton.

Lol!!! No wonder I couldnt get into C6 which was the furthest spot away from the arena, I didnt pay my 500 bucks to get the worst parking spot, so the ushers got mad at us and shuttled us over to B5 instead.
