Shawn Kemp was by far my favorite player growing up and I would argue he shouldn't be included on this list. NBA finals with the Sonics, then on the All-Century team with the Cavs. Sure he fizzled as he got older, but his first 10 seasons were outstanding and he scored over 15,000 points. I'd say he did ok.
Jay Williams would have been a fringe All-star most years but not an All-NBA type performer. He was a great shooter but didn't have the quickness most top level PG's do.That is the start of a good group. Yao Ming, Marcus Fizer, Len Bias, Greg Oden. I think Jay Williams of Duke who got in the motorcycle accident would have been an absolute star. I remember when he played with Duke and they were down 10 with a minute left and he single handedly brought them back to win in OT.
Allen Iverson was one of the best players of the last 15 years and took a team to the finals by himself and even won a game literally by himself. Not sure why he is anywhere near this list.Ken Griffey is a good one. He was the best in the game in his prime but then caught the injury bug. He could have been right there with Bonds (unjuiced as far as we know)
I would say Allen Iverson

This list is a little void of any specifics. Why not put every other high draft pick that didnt pan out on here. Is this just the ones you recall or just your sports watching lifetime?
Because he could have been so much better. He would have been a sure fire Hall of Famer and one of the greatest PG's to ever play the game had he not been so selfish and immature.Allen Iverson was one of the best players of the last 15 years and took a team to the finals by himself and even won a game literally by himself. Speaking of Maurice Clarett, he lives in Omaha and I played basketball with him last week. Turns out he is a really nice guy, no joke.
