With that kind of money you could **** off to wherever you want and just open/buy some business. Maybe a restaurant, a shop, who cares.

Do as much work as you want to there, but otherwise leave things in the hands of whoever you hire to manage it. You don't even have to be all that successful at running it, you've got half a billion in your bank account, gaining more interest every year than you could ever lose running that business.

This. If I didn't have to worry about actually making money I think I'd open a small book store. Buy the building it's in, hire someone I trust to manage it daily, and just hang out there when I would like to. No chance it'd be profitable, but that wouldn't be a big problem for me.

Edit: Actually I would want variety, small projects are fun too. 1 million dollar ride to the winner, 500k to 2nd place, 250k to 3rd place, then 100k to 4th-25th.

I will help anyone. First thing I’d do is start a foundation. In no way would I let my greedy in-laws get any though. I’ve helped them time after time, the one time they could help me, they refused so I’ve said no to helping them with anything. They are the type that think a time share is a great thing.
