When You Win PB or Mega Lottey

I changed my legal name the last time the lottery got absurd, but still go by my birth name. Claim the prize w/changed name and minor disguise. Live my life like nothing changed.

I'd hold a contest for Cyclone Fans to build their dream tailgate vehicle, like Pimp my Ride, but obviously better. Then buy the top 10 entries the vehicle and money to deck it out. Winner gets up to a cool million to spend, everyone else up to 500k.

Edit: Actually I would want variety, small projects are fun too. 1 million dollar ride to the winner, 500k to 2nd place, 250k to 3rd place, then 100k to 4th-25th.

I bought 5, meant to buy the last two drawings but didn't feel like leaving the house.

I'd buy a party house in Ames and move out of state somewhere warmer as people wouldn't leave you alone. 15-20 mil beach house with full indoor basketball, soccer, bowling facilities.

Probably drop half in S&P and then 20% venture capitaling. I would quit the job and code up people's ideas and they give me a stake.

Help friemds and family with the rest, find some causes to get behind.

You could work at Wal-Mart and check receipts because they want to make sure their customers are doing the job they don't want to pay checkers to do these days :D

I would check receipts or gather carts at Costco.

Maybe some stocking.

Home on the water with a boat.

Donate to cancer research.

Bankroll ISU AD and NIL: facilities, players, coaches, etc.

I certainly will write the athletics dept a check to make the press box and suites better. Then build a house in a remote location near an airport where jets can land and travel.

With that philosophy you never donate, it’s growing eternally.
Invest it and give the returns to charity. Over time you will give way more to charity than if you just give it away right away. Also new carpet in my house. It’s getting old

There are lots of ways to keep the mind going, and I can't imagine i'd want to do any that require dealing with retail customers.

I would do the jobs that don't really require a lot of interactions regarding any sort of issues.

I bussed tables in restaurants and being a worker bee was kind of glorious vs. almost all other positions.

With that kind of money you could **** off to wherever you want and just open/buy some business. Maybe a restaurant, a shop, who cares.

Do as much work as you want to there, but otherwise leave things in the hands of whoever you hire to manage it. You don't even have to be all that successful at running it, you've got half a billion in your bank account, gaining more interest every year than you could ever lose running that business.

I'll start a bunch of businesses that lose money every year pay myself a low salary (earned income) - I'll be the first billionaire to get the Earned Income Credit every year after becoming a billionaire.

With all that money why put myself through the stress of running a business?

Stock shelves or gather carts a few times/week or whatever and go home.
