I'm just south of the airport. Will be watching. With that paint colors shouldn't be hard to see.View attachment 75400

We have lift-off. The Ragin' Cajuns left LFT at 3:38 PM headed for DSM. Arrive at DSM at 5:17 PM. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SCX8633/history/20200911/1930Z/KLFT/KDSM

Don't worry, Iowa and Nebraska fans, a trip to Home Depot with the wife is a perfectly fine way to spend a Fall Saturday afternoon.
The only thing better is holding her purse while she tries on clothes in Lane Bryant.and while you are out, you can do a three hour tour of JOANN Fabrics . . . .
Well, if the Cajuns are Ragin’, why wouldn’t there be?I'm guessing they'll be staying at a hotel in Ankeny tonight. Sure hope there won't be any 3am fire alarms.
I was noting the pretty linear increase in speed. I am guessing that is due to the plane getting lighter as it burns fuel but I'm sure someone on here could probably say with more real knowledge. 10-15 tons of fuel seems like it could make a big difference in a plane's speed. They're moving right along. They planned to go 429 mph and are hitting 451 mph
Do they have a steadily increasing tailwind?I was noting the pretty linear increase in speed. Flyover countryI think the pilot is lost, he missed DSM. Ok, he's turning around now.
The plane went west and I missed it. The guys working up at the shop saw it to the west of them. I was hoping they would be using the southwest runwayI'm just south of the airport. Will be watching. With that paint colors shouldn't be hard to see.View attachment 75400
Yep, he came in from the Northwest. Well, we're that much closer to a game. The plane went west and I missed it. The guys working up at the shop saw it to the west of them. I was hoping they would be using the southwest runway
I glanced through one of their boards and a poster made a comment about two players not making the trip. Didn't say who, just two players. Now I wonder how many Ragin Cajuns are not going to play.
