***Weekend Weather***

I've been doing shopping for new tires today (motivation moved up due to snow forecast)... you can probably thank me for the snowfall totals disappearing.
 
Are not the NWS sites the most official of all weather sites? If you had to make a bet, go with NWS? What say you, weather guys?

Currently, I'm thinking most of your route is just going to see a lot of rain, with minimal snow, probably going to snow around when you are coming back. I-80 from Atlantic west is probably where I would worry.

I don't think I-35 south should be that bad. Wet, maybe slushy, but common sense should get you through decently.

Driving at night with snow flying will impact your visibility. Not too many stopping points on I35 except for the casino.
 
It looks like my beer intake prediction is going to be lower this weekend than I thought, though a shift in the atmosphere could sweep things upward on Saturday if things don't go so well in Norman.
