I feel for guys like Will McDonald, Anthony Johnson, and Xavier Hutchinson. They deserve a good send off, but I don't thnk it will be a good showing attendance wise.

I have not booed at a football game since 1992 vs. Kansas (I was chastised by a good fan and learned a lesson).
Weather Underground says High of 24 with a Feel Like of 13 degrees in mid-afternoon.

It was an awful, awful 2nd half. I booed when Iowa State punted from the Kansas 29 yard-line, and the ball went in the end-zone and came back out to the 20 for a 9 yard net instead of going for it. I was booing Walden's decision, not the kids, but the kids on the field did not know that. Just not good form to boo, and I have not done it sinse. It was warranted for that game. Up by 26 with 19 minutes left, and lost.
Triple option special!!It was warranted for that game. Up by 26 with 19 minutes left, and lost.
Walden clearly didn’t care at that point. He was flipping off the administration and collecting a check. It is almost like there was a 1980s Walden that was night and day different from 1990s Walden. It was an awful, awful 2nd half. Weather does not bother good teams. Alabama or Georgia could come to Ames on Saturday, and it would not bother them one bit. I also don't think it will make one bit of difference to TT. I'm more worried about the ISU team not checking out after the tough string of games. FWIW, when I talk about weather, it just has to do wih me as a fan sitting outside for four hours.Weather is so overrated in football IMO. I've seen it too many times.
I'm a Packers fan, and everyone always says how much of a home field advantage that is when teams have to come to Lambeau in the playoffs.... but it rarely seems to help.
The 49ers seem to have no problems beating the Packers in Lambeau in the playoffs. Several years back, I believe Jacksonville also beat the Packers in Lambeau in the playoffs. Tampa Bay too. All these teams are warm climate teams, and had no problem coming into the frozen tundra and kicking butt.
Start another thread to opine on that then. Don’t ruin the weather thread.I've never boo'd at an ISU game, BUT, in the NIL era, I find it completely acceptable for those that do.
Featuring lots of shotgun runs up the middle, short passing routes beyond the LOS, and if you are really lucky, one exciting defense slicing drive!!!! Enjoy!!!
My crew will be there.Going to be cold - especially late - and with the way things are going, it's probably going to be a very sparse crowd. Hope it's a good showing for the Seniors though.
Interesting, very interesting. Basically impossible I think, but interesting.Weather is so overrated in football IMO. I've seen it too many times.
