Weather for Tech - 6pm, Sub-20s

I feel for guys like Will McDonald, Anthony Johnson, and Xavier Hutchinson. They deserve a good send off, but I don't thnk it will be a good showing attendance wise.

Mahomes game,..T jucoTech quit. Kliff wanted to leave halfway through the 2nd quarter, 5 TD's for I State in that quarter!!!!

But nothing was as cold as KU with fat Charlie in 2013. 11* at kickoff(IIRC).

KU quit before the start.

At least T jucoTech tried for a quarter. Seeing Mahomes whiff on trying to tackle stud LB Joel Lanning on an int return was hilarious.

It was warranted for that game. Up by 26 with 19 minutes left, and lost.
It was an awful, awful 2nd half. I booed when Iowa State punted from the Kansas 29 yard-line, and the ball went in the end-zone and came back out to the 20 for a 9 yard net instead of going for it. I was booing Walden's decision, not the kids, but the kids on the field did not know that. Just not good form to boo, and I have not done it sinse.

Walden clearly didn’t care at that point. He was flipping off the administration and collecting a check. It is almost like there was a 1980s Walden that was night and day different from 1990s Walden.

Weather is so overrated in football IMO. I've seen it too many times.

I'm a Packers fan, and everyone always says how much of a home field advantage that is when teams have to come to Lambeau in the playoffs.... but it rarely seems to help.

The 49ers seem to have no problems beating the Packers in Lambeau in the playoffs. Several years back, I believe Jacksonville also beat the Packers in Lambeau in the playoffs. Tampa Bay too. All these teams are warm climate teams, and had no problem coming into the frozen tundra and kicking butt.

Weather does not bother good teams. Alabama or Georgia could come to Ames on Saturday, and it would not bother them one bit. I also don't think it will make one bit of difference to TT. I'm more worried about the ISU team not checking out after the tough string of games. FWIW, when I talk about weather, it just has to do wih me as a fan sitting outside for four hours. :)

Interesting, very interesting. Basically impossible I think, but interesting.
