Not sure about it either. At any rate, we are talking about former Cyclones.
Like I said, I would not be opposed. But keep in mind that Tyler Sash was NEVER a Cyclone. He did not like the Cyclones. The game is at Jack Trice Stadium. It is a FORMER Player who has been gone from their program for several years now.
I would not be surprised if there is no announcement and would not be surprised if their was. To me it makes no difference. How many people would be upset if nothing is done at the game?

There is a word...empathy. Some of you need to find a dictionary and figure out what it means.
I don't care that Iowa is our rival. Some things are bigger than a rivalry. Life and death is one of those things. It would be a classy move to have a moment of silence, especially considering how fresh it is.

Wouldn't be upset either way. The only way I'd be a little disappointed is if we did, but haven't done anything for former Cyclones that past away during the season.
I do think the fact that there is a lot questions surrounding his passing, would discourage Iowa St from doing anything.
If I was the AD dept I may issue a statement acknowledging our condolences, and leave it to Iowa to have a moment for him in their own stadium, in front of his fans.

Actually we have discussed a lot of young men who have passed away at a young age. Most of them were Cyclones.

You can't honor every player that passes before every game, but in this case there needs to be a moment of silence or at least an announcement of the loss of a player/person. It was a rival player that passed the week of the game, not two months ago. It think it would be a shame to let this go without mentioning something.

Not sure what the connection is of having it done in front of a stadium filled with Iowa State Cyclones. IMO it really needs to be done for this FORMER Player in front of his fans.

I have expressed my heartfelt sympathies. IMO, this is a FORMER Player who was never a member of the Cyclone Family and has no relationship to us.
It seems that you will be really upset if Iowa State does nothing to honor Tyler Sash.
