That is the word in Oskaloosa. Haven't heard or seen anything concrete yet, but It appears to be true.

That's terrible. He was one hell of a player, and I remember hoping we'd get him before he committed to Iowa.

I got a text message from my girlfriend earlier today telling me about this but I held off believing it until I saw it from another source. This is very saddening.
Wasn't it a few years ago Greenwood had a life-threatening issue the week of the Iowa game?

Tyler Sash Dies
Grew up in Oskaloosa and played sports with Tyler. He may have been a Hawkeye, but 27 is way too young and goes to show that money and athletic success doesn't alway equate to a long life or a happy life. Kinda puts a damper on my cy-hawk week.
