Tristan Enaruna PT

Enaruna is quite the puzzle, isn't he? It just feels like he should be better than he is. He has all the physical tools and measurables but just hasn't quite figured it out yet. I hope he does as he seems like a nice enough kid. KU fans are cheering for him to have success in all but 2 of his games this year.
You got your wish tonight. 19 & 10 from him in 23 minutes.

Hoping tonight calms everyone down.
It's like the guy has a lot of potential and needs playing time to reach it. Interesting.

What a great teammate and move by Kunc to pick up 3 quick early fouls so that Enaruna would get PT.

Our best version is likely with Kunc AND Enaruna on the floor.

We do have some versatility in our lineup that I definitely didn't expect coming into the year with the late attrition. The bigger, more talented inside guys that we'll face coming up may make some of that not work so well, but I think it has a chance to if our guards keep pressuring the ball like they have.

Great game tonight.

It also seems this team is just built to react/respond to the individual game needs (who is on/off). We've seen a game like this, Gabe get MVP of the NIT, Caleb have his night, etc.

A very good job by the staff, even if they have yet to work on different lineups much. As you said, it is even more impressive because they lost three guys that would have added a lot of versatility right before the season. I think it was fairly predictable those three didn't "fit" with this group, but had they bought in, wow.

We're more talented that what Fran and others have talked about on TV, but we are probably one scorer short from being in that top tier. Arguably, if you add shooting/scoring to the front court with a guy like Ryan Hawkins (or Hinson had he been willing to play defense) plus Foster being a little JVB-like, and the makeup is there for a FF team.

I think Tristan has tremendous upside. We were playing a bad team tonight but think we’re seeing flashes off that. Excited to see what he could do if/when he becomes more of a focal point in the offense. As noted on here several times, we’ll need games like this from him in Big 12 and his chances will come.

So incredibly happy for Tristan. He’s an important part of this team and it’s great to see him have this type of game before starting Big 12 play

Agree. He needed that boost of confidence. Hopefully he can be a little more aggressive from here on out, because we're going to need him. Now we need Kalcheur to bust out of his shooting slump and Hunter to break through the freshman wall.

Would probably be a playoff team in the NBA with that squawd. Just a 7 or 8 though, things would have to come together pretty well.

Tre King, come on down, you’re the next contestant …

Very nice. Good for him; I hope he continues his development.
So do I. When I watch him play, I can tell there's talent and gamesense there. Like, you can see it's almost clicking and there's more potential to be unlocked. He's a great piece for us and I don't think we've seen his skill cap yet.
