Tristan Enaruna PT

He should be playing the 5 when Conditt is out. Jones should see 0 minutes.
Agree. I think it has been clear all season our "best" version is getting Enaruna to improve as quickly as possible imo. Normally that means PT, which means more minutes with Kunc.

Can't ignore Jones. We'll need him to be as little of a liability as possible in some games, but investing minutes in him over Enaruna must have been about practice.

uh, no. He didn’t do anything that Eneruna couldn’t or didn’t do. The guy plays hard, but at the end of the day he’s a huge offensive liability and this team doesn’t need anymore of those on the court.
Guys need to get points of rest. The main guys at 100% for 35 minutes is better than the main guys for 80% for 40 minutes.

Having a 3 man big guy rotation is normal. Conditt, Kuncz, and Enaruna should be taking this minutes and going small when they can’t put 2 of them in there. Jones is a good backup backup plan if foul trouble comes.

There will likely be big men in the conference that will be able to punish Kunc and Enaruna. That's where I see Jones as being most important. I think today I would have liked to see Otz go smaller more, with Baylor's big guys in foul trouble and not being huge offensive threats. But he was probably worried about the rebounding without Conditt or Jones boxing them out, which is reasonable.

When Enaruna plays like he did today, I'd like to see them run the offense through him more often. Most of his points were off of nice cuts or offensive rebounds. It's great that he was able to score off those situations, but if he can be a source of offense initiation when the outside shots aren't hitting, that would be great.

Besides KU, which teams have a frontline like Baylor? Or punishing low post guys? The Big like most of CBB has gotten small.

Imo, if the opponent is trying to win on offense via punishing Kunc and Enaruna's lack of bulk, we're already ahead. This facilitates our doubles, and a post passing it out of the block is a good spot to be in with this group (less true the past few years when we didn't know how to double).

Agree about today and needing great fundamentals on rebounding. Jones finds a guy to body

Bob is comfortable in being physical; that’s not TE’s game. They are not the same…

Best game of the year and he scored 5. He’s also a complete liability from the line. If the ceiling is 5 points I don’t think it deserves PT.

He's no more a free throw liability than the starting point guard. I mean come on Tyrese you have the ball in your hands you need to make free throws.
