Ticket Rumor, Roll Call.....

That's exactly my situation...we regularly get people's mail from across town, or have ours delivered to God only knows where. We almost missed the game @ Mizzou last year because they delivered the tickets to the church on E. 5th St when I live on W. 5th St. We've complained but it usually makes no difference, so I always start to worry when something I'm expecting doesn't show up when I think it should.
 
Mine did not come in today either.. so.. . I called over and talked with people I know in the ticket office....

There are still many packets still sitting on their tables to be shipped out and they have been going out in waves... They looked mine up and found them on the table and said they would go out in the next day or so. I should get mine early next week.

When I asked how they determine how they went out, they were not completely sure how the order is determined.. but they thought it had to do with the account number associated with the tickets being ordered... so those that have long term/lower numbers on their accounts would have been sent earlier than those recently created. The were only guess that this was the way the order was determined... nothing other than that educated guess...

So the real news is that there are many yet to be put in the mail and they will be sent out soon. Takes a lot work to send out this much new found support for our team.... Go Cyclones......

So that means I won the development ticket contest? I got mine the first day.

And unless they've changed up the procedure drastically, each order is completed by hand. Every order has to be doublechecked, to make sure that people get all of their tickets and none of anyone else's. Depending on the number of tickets in the order, it may take multiple envelopes. Plus, all of the other pamphlets and whatnot that go into the mailing.

Bottom line is it's not a fast process, no matter how many temps they hire. With the increase in orders comes a longer time to fill the mailers.
