Ticket Rumor, Roll Call.....

Saw on Cyclones.com they are within 500 tickets of last years record for season ticket sales - anyone know how many were sold last year?

It was roughly 37500, so we're at the 37k mark now

It would be nice to know how many of those were actual season ticket purchases, as I believe that included mini packs too. I understand why they are counting the way they are but the number is not really realistic.

Much like the height and weight of a high school football player, why would you want realistic numbers when you can have a slightly bloated but believable number instead??

As long as its consistent year to year its still a decent measure.

That said, none of the mini-packs are on sale yet, i don't believe, so if they included those in last year's count and we're almost to that without those sales, we're doing pretty good. Considering we cleared 50k for every game last year with season ticket numbers that will be less than this year, i think its a pretty good chance we do that again this year.

I'm ALL OUT! Got mine yesterday in Des Moines. As others have stated, I'm not happy about getting move from my parking lot. Talked to ISU Foundation today to see what we could do. Nothing. Was told that next year all pavement will be Cardinal ($500) and up. Could barely afford two tickets and parking pass this year. Family had to do a staycation and played no golf all summer to make payments. I'm glad we have a better tv package, because it may be the only way to see the Clones in the future. By the way, considering selling tickets and parking pass if there is interest out there. We are going to Tulsa game, but after that if I get enough $...Section C Row 1 Seats 3&4, parking pass A1.

This my friend is progress - I hope one day we have seat license fees and parking costs $2,500 donation level to get pavement - translation Iowa State will be a top football program.

With no fans in the stands...ISU is/was a family friendly environment. Next year...can't take the kids. Year after...can't take the wife. Year after that ... go to one or two games. Year after that ...buy bigger TV. Hope all the people that can afford tix will cheer as loud as I do, stay in stands when its cold and snowing and buy hot dogs not cavier. Like the pros, they squeezing out those of us working guys with a family...

Cha Ching. Received them today in Papillion. I don't do the parking pass. I usually park/tailgate in the faculty lot north of old RCA. We get out faster than people parked at JTS for the long drive home.
