THT Going into the Draft

The thing about comps is they are rarely perfect, but physically, Barkley is a great one. Obviously very different skill sets and athleticism.
Gordon became a knock down 3 point shooter out of necessity imo based on the way Houston structured their offense around James Harden. I think he could be more dynamic in a more “standard” offense.
I’m not trying to be a jerk, but I don’t see any way that a (very athletic!) 6’2” 2-guard with a 6’3” wingspan has a higher upside than a 6’4” guy with a 7’1” wingspan who can play/defend multiple positions.
THT’s game reminds me somewhat of Jayson Tatum’s. Very diverse offensively with some shot selection issues. Both multi-positional defenders. Tatum has a better jump shot.
Fixed it for you. THT, At 6’ 4”, will not be able to play/defend multiple positions in the NBA. Too slow to guard the 2 or the 3. Too short to guard the post or the 4. Tweener with a strong college game. Wigginton is also too short to play the 2, and doesn’t have the handles necessary to play the point. This is Stinson and Blaylock all over again.
They both have strengths and weaknesses obviously.
Wiggs is more athletic and is a better shooter. THT has more length and is better defensively.
If I were to make projections... I don't think either will have a successful NBA career.
Hopefully both of them get the chance to hone their craft and not get buried in the G-League. THT is a projected 1st rounder. I believe that gives him 2 years guaranteed. Wiggs probably has an uphill climb.

Looks like Talen has signed with Klutch Sports Out of Clevland, which is headed by Rich Paul. From the Wiki: Rich Paul is an American sports agent based in Cleveland, Ohio. He founded Klutch Sports Group and represents a number of prominent NBA players, including Eric Bledsoe, John Wall, Ben Simmons, Anthony Davis, Draymond Green, and long-time friend LeBron James.
What is Wigginton's situation looking like? I haven't really seen him on any mock drafts and I think the possibility of him getting drafted is very slim.
Should probably find out by the end of next week or sometime around there who all the combine invites are.
Great to get an invite to the combine, but you have to think that there is going to be a lot of distractions off the court playing that close to home.
