Man didn’t know THT was that short. Not even 6’3. His wingspan to height has to be biggest in the draft.
Shayok also has a great wingspan

He was 6'-2 1/2" without shoes. 6'-4" with shoes, which I believe was his listed height. Most guys he guarded were probably 6'-6" to 6'-9" with shoes. So yeah, giving up 4-5 inches was pretty common for him. Although his standing reach is the equivalent of about a 6'-7" player with shoes. That's what really matters. Looks like his hand size also measured in at the top of the guard class, which is a pretty good attribute for NBA guards. If he's 6'2, you'd have to think nearly everyone he guarded this year had 4-5 inches on him.
I think THT would benefit most from a team like the Raptors or Blazers. A team full of dudes who know the effort you need to put in to make it. No above and beyond star, and a good group that seems to be a cohesive unit and grows together. THT will need a vet to take him under his wing and teach him what it means to make it in the league, and one that will actually care enough to follow through on the mentorship. If I had to pick, those would be my landing spots I'd want for him.
Nets were another destination I was thinking I'd like to see him now, but still feels strange to type out haha. I'd be cool with the Pacers Jazz or Spurs, however I am worried about the Spurs' longevity. I'm sure they'll be fine but there are some questions with where they move from here.It seems like he's mostly perceived as a developmental player with upside. If that's the case then you'd think teams with a reputation for developing talent would make the most sense. So like you said, Toronto and Portland, and I'd throw in the Nets, Spurs, Jazz, and Pacers. Basically the steady, well-run franchises. The worst thing that could happen to him is to go to a team with a flailing front office like the Lakers, Suns or Bulls. He'll just get lost in the shuffle there and not get any better.
Now, it's on to where he's selected. Recent mock drafts trending in 22 to 25 range.
