Yes, I actually live in Evanston, but work in Winnetka and Northbrook.

And yes, very weird that some of the things I see in this world remind me of screen names here on CF. :twitcy:

POST #1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I wasn't even trying!!! yay!!!

And you got 1000 last time too! Of course I could go back and delete Chipper's post and take it back from you.

Cool. Winnetka and Northbrook are nice. It is amazing how much growth is up there. The suburbs seems so close from what they used to when I was a kid.

Stop trying to hide your manlove for linden behind the 1000th post.

Jesus, if we invite Air Force, then we are indeed a sad conference. Why in the heck would we not go after Louisville and BYU instead of AF? Obviously ND and Arkansas would be a clear 1 and 2, but assuming they don't want anything to do with us, then the next best options would be BYU and Lousiville, in that order.

We're not getting Arkansas. Why would a team leave the best and most stable conference in the country to join one of the least stable?

and noooo don't take it away from me! I take a lot of pride on being the first person reach 1000th post.

Good point. If the acc moves on a big east school though I have to believe delany offers one or two of the big big east media markets. Uconn? Maryland? Syracuse?s

Delaney's leash is as long as his presidents give him.

Now that the CCG is off the table, a school will have to bring more to the Big 10 than Nebraska brought last year. They just seem to have too good of a thing to screw it up through dilution.

Maryland and UNC might make sense for the Big 10, but that's about it.
