The Big 10 doesn't really need to expand and as bad as Delaney might want to, the university presidents aren't going to let him do it unless it's pretty damn lucrative. Now that they have their championship game, IMO it will take Notre Dame to spur Big 10 expansion.

Good point. If the acc moves on a big east school though I have to believe delany offers one or two of the big big east media markets. Uconn? Maryland? Syracuse?s
 
Need to add BYU for sure.

Wish list Notre Dame and Arkansas.

possibilities for the final two would be a combo of the following: Pitt, Cincy, Louisville, South Florida or New Mexico.

What kind of following does Northern Illinois have? With an upgrade to a BCS league could they be anything?

I think this is pretty much right on. I'm guessing we add number 10 almost immediately. But I think we hold off on the other two for the time being unless of course they're blockbuster additions. :yes: (thread no. 989)

Maybe slightly creepy, but more symptomatic of how much time we spend on CF.

Id vote no to northern illinois purely based on their stadium.
 
We would definitely need to add a tenth team as soon as possible to at least make it look like the big 12 could still be somewhat stable.

I'm pretty sure they are going to add another Texas school. Not South Florida. With Northwestern, Illinois, and Notre Dame I would say Chicago is pretty much tapped.

Yes, I actually live in Evanston, but work in Winnetka and Northbrook.

And yes, very weird that some of the things I see in this world remind me of screen names here on CF. :twitcy:
