Ok, hopefully this link works for longest threads. I used the "state" suggestion.

I don't think they make Big 10 enough money.
The Big 10 doesn't really need to expand and as bad as Delaney might want to, the university presidents aren't going to let him do it unless it's pretty damn lucrative. Now that they have their championship game, IMO it will take Notre Dame to spur Big 10 expansion.
This may sound creepy, but I drive past "Linden Ave" everyday to work and whenever I see the road sign, I think of your screen name.Hmm... you and I bantering back and forth while trying to get to 1000 posts in a thread about conference changes...sounds familiar:

Good point. If the acc moves on a big east school though I have to believe delany offers one or two of the big big east media markets. Uconn? Maryland? Syracuse?s
I would think the goal would be that as soon as aTm is out the door that another member is in the conference before that door even closes. At least get the 1 done, then perhaps add the other 2 within a week or so, or worse case scenario we add them next off-season.

Ok, I digress...
Need to add BYU for sure.
Wish list Notre Dame and Arkansas.
possibilities for the final two would be a combo of the following: Pitt, Cincy, Louisville, South Florida or New Mexico.
What kind of following does Northern Illinois have? With an upgrade to a BCS league could they be anything?

Id vote no to northern illinois purely based on their stadium.
Raises an interesting question: how many schools with a direction in their name are in the BCS conferences. South Florida? is that it?

I'm pretty sure they are going to add another Texas school. Not South Florida. With Northwestern, Illinois, and Notre Dame I would say Chicago is pretty much tapped.Need to add BYU for sure.

Yes, I actually live in Evanston, but work in Winnetka and Northbrook.LOL, nice. So you are up north then? Isn't that an Evanston train stop?
Maybe slightly creepy, but more symptomatic of how much time we spend on CF.
