LOL No. Naz tried to actually give it a go and played as long as he could. Burton wasn't eligible yet to take Naz's minutes and ISU was thin in reserves.

Naz's plan at the beginning of the year was to give it a go. He did all he could before deciding he needed to hang it up that season. Jorbo knew what he was doing and has also admitted it was Iowa's superbowl.

Didn't Jbo sit out games early that season so he could play against ISU?
We aren't as slow of foot as normal but what do I know NC central got a lot of good looks first 28 minutes last game. The physical ability to play better defense is there though.
Connor off the bench. Jordan yes. You'll see a lot more JT, uhlis, perkins this year than previous. Even last year those were are 3 best defenders on the perimeter. That's not counting Keegan who's going to probably be Fran's best defender at Iowa when he's done
Iowa has still been poor on defense so far this year. Was hoping that would have improved some, but it hasn't so far. UNCW had a layup line the first 30 minutes of the last game.
Yeah he sat out against Cal Poly so he could play us before shutting it down. You can't make this stuff up.
You lost your best perimeter defender so I'm not sure why anyone would think it would improve
If we play defense like that we're In trouble. I still think we're more equipped athletically to be better defensively. Hasn't always been Fran's strong suit though is my worry
