Well it sucks that they almost won. I feel bad for the ISU fans that were hoping for a WVU blowout.
But you don’t feel bad about African American athletes being discriminated against by your football coach.

Bench really stepped up last night.
Nobody has said touisant is more important than me. I said he was the key to the season on here. I disagree Connor's terrible he did however struggle last nightCyclone fans have been clamoring for Toussaint to get more minutes for the past several weeks while Iowa fans continue to pretend Jorbo and Connie aren't terrible.
When you start Jordan Bohannon and Connor McCaffrey you are given your bench a lot of opportunity
When you start Johnson, Young, Jackson, Bolton, Cole-Lands, Conditt, or Walker you are giving the opposing team a lot of opportunity.

But Bblowhanon has (4) Superbowl ringsWhen you start Jordan Bohannon and Connor McCaffrey you are given your bench a lot of opportunity

It's quite annoying when people believe you're not allowed to criticize because the team you root for isn't good / sucks. We obviously know as an entity our team is one of the worst, if not THE worst P5 team at the moment. We also know there are individuals on our team that are either being coached terribly or are just not good at the game of basketball. I believe it's both and both are coaching issues regardless. Is this supposed to be a jab or something?
I've been down that same path as well.Nobody has said touisant is more important than me.
It’s not the starting element because 6th men off the bench can be huge, It’s the minutes. Jordan gets almost 15.5 more minutes a game than Joe T. To me, that’s nuts.
If student athletes are experiencing all of these ism's like you claim, more would transfer. It's never been easier to transfer to another school, and many of them would have plenty of opportunities to play and succeed at other schools. I don't think the current culture is what you think it is.Through determination and effort, kind of like you guys go out of your way to ignore the racism/sexism/homophobia that permeates your athletic department.
What does it say about your character that you support that athletic department?

I'm not taking up for McFran Jr specifically, but in general, collegiate players can earn major mins doing only one thing very well: 3-pt shooter, rebounder; defensive stopper.......I'm not sure what Jr does well: maybe assists ?With that being said, Connor averages 3 ppg and shoots 27% from the three and only 35% from the floor. That's awful. He does some nice things but if his last name wasn't the same as the HC he would not see the minutes he does.
I understand your emotional about the topic. You come off as irrational when you say things like "they all" said this, or "all Iowa fans" don't care. Those are not true statements. Sounds to me like you are about 2 secs from an aneurysm.Actually it’s racism and sexism and sexual assault cover ups that I hate.
Iowa fans not caring about simple human decency embarrasses me. People all over saw the story last spring about Kirk being racist. I don’t live around hawk fans. So when decent people read about what Kirk did, they’re outraged (rightly so).
getting lumped in with that because I was born in the same state was disgusting.
but, do you notice none of the rest of your fellow hawk fans care at all about what happened?
You don't know their reason for transferring. Transfers have always been a part of college football and a lot of the time it is because kids want to get playing time somewhere else. This is not a new thing. Again, it's irrational to think that all transfers are due to racism.in fact, a lot of them did. What did your fellow hawks say about that?
it was the kids fault for not being tough enough.
Assists probably. I'm not sure how much a back to back POTY candidate helps that though.I'm not taking up for McFran Jr specifically, but in general, collegiate players can earn major mins doing only one thing very well: 3-pt shooter, rebounder; defensive stopper.......I'm not sure what Jr does well: maybe assists ?

I'm sure you'll make a difference posting the same things over and over on this board. Good luck to you.Well there are 60+ stories of kids speaking out about the way they were treated, and the consensus of your fellow hawk fans was it was because they weren’t willing to do things the “Iowa way”
I think you already know this, it was all over your hawk boards.
For whatever reason, we seem to match up well with them. No clue how or why our games have been so close.I see ISU hung with WVU last night. How did they manage to do that, I see Young is back and playing as well.
Yes we have shared same thoughts on bohannons minutes. We're a little different as far as Connor's. I will say i don't like what I'm seeing from him lately. Early in year he was moving ball more quickly whereas now its sticking and he's almost trying to play a 2 man game with Garza but he's not a consistent threat. Defensively he hasn't been as good either he was always ok but he's overhelping and not playing as physical on the ball.I've been down that same path as well.
