Is ISU back to full strength then? I think Young was out with COVID, correct? But Bolton, Walker and Harris were all playing the whole time?
Said on the radio this AM that this is MSU's worst team in the last 50 years. Is that right?
Wonder how much ISU fans lost last night. Couldn’t of been good that is for sure. I’ve never gambled on an Iowa game. I could never bet against them and never have that much confidence they are going to do good.
Nobody knew we were going to be back to almost full strength. Probably the healthiest we have been all season.
Record wise yes. Worst start in Big Ten play since the 70s. Talent wise I don’t think so. Still have a lot of talent on that team. They are like Duke, Kentucky and Kansas. All having bad years with a lot of talent. Any of those teams could probably beat anyone outside of Gonzaga or Baylor on any given night and then also lose to anyone too.
Well it sucks that they almost won. I feel bad for the ISU fans that were hoping for a WVU blowout.
They are not a good MSU team for sure. Worst team in 50's year, no way. MSU did what MSU does and they grabbed and held and fouled all night long pretty much. It really bothered the Jordan and Weiskamp a lot, and that is why Fran smartly played Joe and Perkins so much, and the bench pretty much saved the game for Iowa.
This was what, Jackson’s second game this season? Need his shooting. Didn’t know Johnson was still out. Only saw the last 2 minutes on my youngest sons phone while at the HS game.

Fwiw, Iowa is currently the leader for this kid. Top 100 player and offensive stud.
