What's the differencebetween small batch and non small batch, how do you tell the difference?

I think Al already answered your question. But yes, "small batch" will be printed on the bottle. It is my understanding that a smaller batch was made and put in smaller bottles so they can distribute to more customers...

I could be way off but that is what I've been told.

All kidding aside, it should say right on the bottle. In the past, the small batches/limited editions have been in smaller bottles.

EDIT: I think all are considered "small batch" but there have been some limited releases over the years in smaller bottles that had slightly different recipes. I think one was sort of like a Scotch.

Yeah, thanks for adding the smartassedness in there, wouldn't be a TR thread without it. I've never seen the bottle before. Seems with all this TR have to be in the know stuff, that there was a trick to figuring out what was small batch and what wasn't. All I've ever seen was the regular bottle.

lol, don't worry, I've seen the posts and I received the lecture from my friend as he gave me a bottle for Christmas.

I guess I've just never really paid much attention to the mistique, because the stuff is always available here. So I never paid a lot of attention to the thread before. I'll have to look at the bottle I have at home, now that I think about it, I think it says small batch on it as well.
