Anyone care to share where they are finding bottles of the latest batch of Templeton Rye still for sale? I'm wanting to get out today and start hunting.

Im in Council Bluffs and One of the Hy Vee's is completely sold out... went to just a hy vee liquor store and they were limiting it to 1 bottle per day and only had 4 cases left out of 10... and this was at 10:15.. left my name with fareway last night and they called and held 3 bottles for me.... Council Bluffs just got there shipment in this morning... So long story short better get out there and just ask around...
I picked up 12 bottles at John's Grocery in Iowa City, but I placed this order in August after visiting the Templeton Rye State Fair booth.
My advise is to try Fareways... I bet not many people realize that they started selling liquor a couple months ago... I told the manager i would check in with him tomorrow to possibly get another bottle and he acted supprised that i thougt he would be out of it by tomorrow....??
I am amazed at the demand for TR. I miss having the opportunity to purchase it now that I'm in Missouri. One can assume they are going to step up production?
If you're in eastern Iowa Monticello has about 20 cases right now between the two places that sell liquor in town.

Yeah, from what I can gather every city in Iowa has it except the Des Moines metro. I dont quite understand that.
Everywhere I called is either getting some in tomorrow or Friday, or in a month.
Yet the rest of Iowa already has their's. I dont get it.
:realmad: dang! Visited the wife's family, spent several days there over Thanksgiving and didn't think to look around there.
My wife was trying to find me a bottle today and said she tried 3 different stores in the Des Moines area, all were either out or had not received their shipment yet. Betting it is going to be hard to find in the metro area for a few months unless you have some connections or were on a waiting list.
