The whole Travie McCoy CD is pretty good. I'm looking forward to a release from Bruno Mars since that song and "Nothin' On You" from B.o.B. is pretty good.

One song that always reminds me of summer is "Green Onions" by Booker T and the MG's. No words, just a fun beat that makes you want to cruise with the windows down and enjoy the outdoors.

This is weird because I was going to create this exact post yesterday. It seems like there is a new summer theme song every year, but it is nearly the 4th weekend, and it doesn't seem like there has been one yet. I would agree with Shots for a drinking song, even though it came out last November. Need to listen to more music, cause I got nothing.

Nickelback is GREAT in concert, and even though I'm a fan of a lot of songs, "This Afternoon" sucks.

I would say the Katy Perry song too. Not that I like it but that thing is everywhere right now. Go to the mall, it's playing in the background. Go to the bar, it's playing in the background. Heck, I even went to a funeral a few days ago and it was playing at the funeral home...ok not so much but you get my drift.
