Statement

I didn't expect them to make this, but I'd say this is about all I did expect IF they were to make a statement. I hope some of these refs get demoted to D3 games as a way of showing them they need to learn more about the game. but that won't happen.
Please don't send them to D3, knowing my luck they'll be the refs at Wooster's game and hose my team again

I dunno... I think it would be nice to have this officiating crew back in Ames for one more go round, then everyone can have a full 40 minutes to give them a piece of their mind.

The mistakes the big 12 is referring to is waiting until the final minute to win the game for KU.

Me too. Next time o Neill steps foot in Hilton I will be front and center.

I'm just wondering what was going through the refs mind? What are you looking at and how do you justify this?

That is the million dollar question. Their minds have to be blank. They are clearly idiots.

What is beyond amazing is the fact that this wasn't even the worst call made in a game between ISU and KU. That honor goes to the crew that allowed KU to score a three point shot during a dead ball situation after they rebounded the first shot of a Jared Homan two-shot foul. The refs refused to take the points off the board and KU won the game in overtime.

If there's such a thing as karma, we will beat KU in the final four this year on a three point shot that we hit during the national anthem.

ONeill was part of that crew too...

These calls don't even deserved to be called "mistakes," or "bad calls." They are colossal **** ups.

That statement is like getting kicked in the nuts then getting handed a certificate that says you have been officially kicked in the nuts.

I don't think this really hurts the refs in question. They are contractors so if they don't work B12 games they can go work other conference games.
