We went one year when I was 7 months pregnant. Wussy. If it wasn't ball-melting hot outside I'd check it out a day.

I'm twice the size of a seven-month-pregnant MCB. Bring it.We went one year when I was 7 months pregnant. Wussy.

I dont understand it. Once you have been there once, you have seen it all. Once you have seen a fat cow or bull you have seen it, once you have seen some butter sculpture you have seen it.
I dont really understand the people who would want to put themselves through the missery of going to that godforsaken thing more than once a year let alone multiple times the same year. Besides not understanding why anyone wants to go multiple times, I dont understand how anyone can afford to go more than once. You have to be a freaking millionaire, it will likely cost me and my family $150 just to go one day, let alone multiple days.
If the state fair went away (and i wish it would) I wouldn't notice one bit. Its probably the most overrated experience known to man. Oooh look pork chops on a stick.....wait they are $7.50 apiece and it would take 3 of them to satisfy me, no thanks I will go with another $8 beer. Words cant explain the hatred I have for that ****hole.
I don't know, that was the pregnancy with baby girl who ended up being 10lb+ at birth. I felt like a freaking whale chasing around our two-year-old at the time.I'm twice the size of a seven-month-pregnant MCB. Bring it.
Truth. And you would both still be skinny compared to people at the fair

I do the same thing every week at home in my AC.Sometimes I just hang out at the camper with a beer and relax. Don't go down to the fair everyday.
I'm in the dont care camp. I can take it or leave it. I usually make it once a year. I do kind of enjoy East Side night for obvoius people watching reasons.
I grew up on a farm so seeing the animals doesnt do much for me. The equipment displays from my experience pale in comparison to the Farm Progress Show or the Power Show in WF arena.
If I go I do HAVE to have a Turkey Leg and as many of them there $8 beers as I can pour down my word hole.
I voted don't care, but I like going but I can skip years in between going. Especially after getting a week of state fair-like crowds on RAGBRAI. Of course without the wife-beaters and mullets.
