Spurrier interview on Dan Patrick

Again, not the song. The song does suck though. It is what is BEHIND the song that bothers me. A stubborn coach who plays the music he wants instead of what his players want. That is the issue. Any yes, that song has always blown as an intro song as well. Hated it since day 1.

You can't play 99% of what most of the players would want unless it's going to be the edited version and that's not even possible with much of it.

Pretty sure after reading your comments you don't know Rhoads or McCarney. Normal for this board.

I'm good buddies with both of them. We play Dungeons and Dragons together at our monthly club. Paul is a riot and usually brings and extra sixer for the group. Great guy!

Don't need it from faceless posters. Being good at what I do gets me plenty.

I don't respect what you do. I know people who shouldn't be qualified to flip burgers that can sell real estate and do it well; it's not hard.

But hey, if being a combative jerk to some internet posters who disagree with you makes you feel better about your job, good on ya.

Next time you interact with him, asked him why he lied to that caller about the song.

Why? I don't consider the entrance song issue important enough to judge someones character. Like I said it's petty and stupid.

Just like I don't consider you lying to your kids about Santa, Toothfairy or the Easter Bunny important enough issues to deem you a liar.

dumb comparison. You "lie" to your kids about those things because it makes childhood fun for them. The "lie" has a purpose.
In this instance a caller calls in with a legitimate question, and he lies to the caller. And in doing so, makes it seem like it is the fault of someone else for picking that dog turd of a song.
He could have owned up to it and chickened out. Not the same thing at all.

You sound like you are pretty accepting of people who lie. I expect more.

next time you are on the toilet and have a minute, here is some reading for you on how I run my biz

I never said you weren't a good businessman. I own a successful business, as well. The difference is, I'm not a ****** bag who tries to throw it in peoples faces to try and justify their opinions.

"I'm a doosh, but I own a successful business. So, you faceless posters are losers."

You wouldn't happen to throw your successful money to Trump, right?

Nope, you are just the innocent poster who was forced to make a comment about buying respect. Some would think that comment was pretty "dooshy" too.

Congrats on that conclusion. I prefer to actually meet someone in person and spend time with them before jumping to that conclusion. I guess you prefer brevity.

Jump into reality, homie. You put yourself into a spot where it's literally impossible to meet everyone who has an opinion on you.

Let us know when you're having coffee with Coach Rhoads, so you have an accurate conclusion on his character. What a hypocrite you are.
