What irritates me about this subject, it seems like all people see is shots. There is more to basketball than shots. The first part of that game ISU came out smoking. And Matt Thomas played almost perfect basketball during that period, made some great passes, the defense was solid all around. There is more to Matt than his shot. It will come, and he probably has been nailing it in practice. He is an unselfish ball player and the other team knows he is a dead-eye three shooter and so they guard him consistently. That opens things up for other players and the whole package is working. Matt is playing on a team with many very good offensive weapons, and he knows it. He is smarter than his critics.
