He's gotten some lifelong hok fans to come play for him. That is the only reason they haven't totally sucked. Jok couldn't go to ISU, so he fell in Fran's lap. No Fran is on his own and they are just beginning the downward spiral.
Since you are "rural" and dont keep up with stuff that goes on in the cities like Des Moines where Jok was most certainly being recruited by Kansas, Ill let this one slide.
Why don't they actually show up to the games?
I'll never understand Iowa fans who point to paid attendance when actual attendance is only slightly better than the teams you like to make fun of. And the atmosphere is just sad. Especially when talking to ISU fans. Maybe you're trying to compare ISU women's basketball crowds to Iowa MBB?
Yes. And blue bloods show interest in a lot of players, but they don't take them all.

-SEC is "far better" than the Big 10 even though all numbers prove otherwise
-Only reason Iowa got Jok is because we didnt want him anymore
-Jok wasnt being recruited by blue bloods when he was 14 even though it was talked about on local media all the time back then
-Gessell is an amazing player and so much better than Bohannon already

I was just going with anywhere they were in the Top 100. ESPN has them both in there, so I counted that.
