Iowa has surprised the heck out of me... But I still believe they are a team that could and will choke easily in postseason on a neutral court.

Somehow I feel even more confident about Iowa's season after your post

Go look at the numbers, it's right there. If the B10 was #1 in RPI and #1 in Kenpom I would have no problem saying they are the top conference.

The Big 10 does have some good teams in it. The bottom is flat out bad and the middle is ok. The way they schedule things makes the conference look worse than it maybe. All the good teams see to play the bottom half a lot. Iowa has a nice team but they way their schedule has played out has really benefited them.

Anyone who argues that the Big 12 isn't the toughest conference this year is just an idiot or troll. The Big Ten is good at the top as you say, ok in the middle, but man or man is the bottom of that conference weak as ****. Iowa, Maryland, MSU, Purdue and Indiana are all legit top 20-25 teams. Ohio St., Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern remind me of TCU/Tech/K-State/OSU. After that the bottom is just garbage.

How has Iowa's schedule benefited them? Top ten sos, and Iowa plays all the top teams twice except for Maryland.

I was just looking at the RPI and Iowa certainly hasn't "scheduled" its way to its ranking. They have the #10 conference SOS which is tougher than Oklahoma, Kansas, and WVU to date. It is weaker than our Conference SOS, as we are #2 right now.

The guys that can't admit that Iowa is a high quality team and a #1 or at worst #2 seed right now are just as big of idiots or trolls as those who try to say that the Big 12 isn't the toughest conference. Thing is, this is the place to troll Hok fan, so I'm sure many will disagree with this, and call me a troll for seeing what everyone else in college basketball can clearly see.

Both Iowa and ISU are good teams, and would probably play each other to a draw most games on a neutral court. Now go to work.

Yes Ken Pom does mean something and It is very impressive that Iowa is number 1. Unless things change they should be good in the tournament bc of their defense. Sucks seeing them kill it and ISU struggle. Fran is proving to be a really good coach.

No it doesn't. It's pretty much the same as Vegas rankings for college football when Iowa was like #17 all year. Any system that has Iowa "ranked" ahead of Oklahoma right now means nothing

Therefore... Iowa still lost to Iowa State this year, despite all the numbers, that Hawkeyes are pumping their chests about, that say it shouldn't have happened. Yes, Iowa lost when the two played each other. And until they play again, that's all I need to justify who I think the better team is. All this other bickering is pointless at this point and cracks me up that people are still doing it.
