That says to me that in the years ISU wins they are barely better than Iowa that year, but when Iowa wins they are much better than ISU that year. Wouldn't you agree?

Well when you have people posting and actually believing that ISU is either even in football or ahead of Iowa during the past 20 years, then somebody has to post facts and bring them back to reality. That was just absurd.

I've seen this play out before. The hype builds for them, and they get a #1 seed, but proceed to get blown out in the first round, but continue to yell "NUMBER ONE SEED" to all people who talk down to them.

I would agree for the most part. I think most people and myself included would say that ISU is very fortunate to win a lot of those games whereas Iowa was head and shoulders better most of the year's they won. I think 10-10 is the best case scenario for ISU during the last 20 years. Would you say that ISU has had a better or even football program than Iowa the past 20 years?

FIFY, and of course you would say that. I wouldn't say Iowa was head and shoulders better than ISU this year even.

Iowa was barely better than ISU in 06 and 13, but were much better than ISU in 96, 97, 03, 04, 08, 09, 10, and 15.

Because it's Iowa's NCAA Final game. I'd play my best basketball of the season too if I was a player from the state of Iowa who didn't even get a sniff from the state's flagship program. That's a lot of motivation built up.

I feel for you cyclone fans. This was supposed to be YOUR year. Your moment in the sun and Iowa is stealing the limelight. That must really sting. Almost like last year when you were the hot team and you lost to UAB and Iowa made it to the weekend!

You have no idea man. It sucks. Do you have any idea how bad it felt to only beat Iowa by 1 this year? I mean granted we played poorly and Iowa brought their A game but still. Hopefully we right the ship but definitely a disappointment so far

We were just on Big Monday. We are on Big Monday again next week. Gameday will most likely be at KU when we play them. We beat #1 Oklahoma, we beat #9 Iowa. I would say it still IS our year.

You have a successful season if you bypass the play in game, and win 1 game in the tourney. We have an unsuccessful season if we don't make the Elite 8. Big difference in the 2.

Have fun showcasing your games on the big10 network. Want to compare the number of viewers ESPN has over the big10 network? What a joke.
