Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Name calling, very classy. So maybe instead of ripping anybody who gives Iowa any credit answer my original question. What in TCU's schedule up until today makes you think they are a much better team than Iowa right now?

Here are their top wins.

Washington 9-9
UNLV 8-8
Oklahoma 6-9
Texas 7-9

Iowa's win over Michigan is better than anything TCU has right now.
A team is also evaluated by losses no?

Of course they are, care to expand on that?

TCU has no bad losses, in fact I would put SMU, Kansas, West Virginia on par with our losses to top teams. However you could match up Iowa's losses to Virginia, Notre Dame, and Purdue as being comparable to TCU's losses.

Now of course, the losses to Memphis and Omaha are bad and TCU doesnt have anything that pathetic, but then you could turn around and say TCU has nothing remotely close to Iowa's wins over Iowa State, Purdue, and Michigan, heck even Rutgers has a winning record. Does TCU even have a win over a team above .500? Illinois State maybe?

So for someone to sit there and argue how TCU is so great and are this much more talented team than Iowa is completely ridiculous.

Why are they ranked so far of ahead of Iowa in every metric if they're not better? You clearly don't know who Iowa's lost to this year

TCU would crush Omaha at home and Memphis on a neutral court

I'll ask you one last time. Who is arguing that TCU is so great and a final four team?

Vegas has Iowa as the 71st best team in the country. Oklahoma is the second worst in the Big 12 at 68th and Texas is the worst at 74th

Agree on Omaha. Disagree on Memphis. They have a shot at the NCAA tournament unlike TCU.

I think TCU would probably beat Memphis on a neutral court. That being said, Im seeing 7-11, 8-10 at the absolute best with their remaining schedule in the Big 12. Thats not good enough to make the tourney.

They didn't lose to Omaha. Or Memphis.

The difference between TCU's worst loss, 14-4 SMU, and Iowa's worst loss, Omaha, is way bigger than the difference between Iowa's best win, Purdue, and TCU's best win, Illinois State.

TCU is better than Memphis. Memphis is terrible this year

Can we all agree now that TCU is better than Iowa?

About the only thing this game proves is that we are not "ALOT" better than Iowa, which was the original topic anyways.

Oh look, right as I type this our best win just lost to the 6-9 last place team in the Big 12. We better get our act together soon or this will be an NIT season.

Your team isn't going to make the NIT dognuts.

People must have been spinning the year TCU was something like 9-12 and beat Kansas.
