Uni is pathetic this year. I've watched Iowa this year, they're not good and we're so much better

If you were to watch both teams what gives you any indication we are so much better than Iowa right now? Yeah, I get it we played close against 3 good teams, but we didnt win any of them. Our best win was against Texas Tech which just lost to the worst team in the conference.

Now, if in a couple weeks we have wins over Kansas and West Virginia at home, and another road win at maybe Oklahoma or Vandy then Ill agree with you, but as of today we have done nothing to suggest we are so much greater than Iowa is right now.

We've played a tougher schedule and have more wins and less losses including no bad losses. You should just stop

I am not arguing that Iowa is better than ISU but they have grown tremendously since that game. Iowa is young and learning to win together. The defense has improved dramatically since November and early December. And also after the hawks lost to a team that the clones beat by 44, the hawks beat the clones by 14 the next week. Just saying. Rip away.

Their defense is 119th in the country. That's not good

I didn't say it was good, only that it has improved drastically from the early season. You can't see that looking at numbers on a computer screen though. Analytics are useful but sometimes can also be somewhat blinding.

About the only thing this game proves is that we are not "ALOT" better than Iowa, which was the original topic anyways.

Oh look, right as I type this our best win just lost to the 6-9 last place team in the Big 12. We better get our act together soon or this will be an NIT season.
