Same ol' Arnaud

Additionally, Austen Arnaud is the least of our problems. 68-20. I'm not worried nearly as much about the 20 as the 68. Every defensive player and person involved on the defense should be absolutely embarrassed.

i agree but, when the offense cant get a first down, Utah has more than enough chances to score lots of points.

That is a ******** theory. The offense and defense and special teams operate completely independant of one another. Essentially, there were two special teams touchdowns that have nothing to do with Arnaud. Not only that, but they also give gave the defense a longer break and they still allowed scores right after each of them. You cannot put the points on Arnaud that is ********, especially when the line was terrible and our running game was mostly ineffective. Arnaud is not that good but he is certainly not the only concern on this team nor he is he the biggest problem. I know that the few of us stating actual fact will make no difference. Those of you that continue to be uninformed or ignorant in terms of how football games actually work will continue to single out the most identifiable player on the team and blame him for the majority of the whoas with this team tonight. It's ridiculous and quite frankly our fanbase is pathetic. I think the majority of this board probably do contribute in some way or form, so nothing against them but I think the majority of Cyclone fans say they are fans just so they can *****. It also seems a lot on here just are on here to tell their "whoa is me stories" and talk about how terrible we are and how terrible some of our players are. I can go to a Michigan board or Alabama board and not find this much ******** there and those teams were actually undefeated.

The reason our defense can't tackle is because ARNAUD can't do anything but THREE AND OUT and they are EXHAUSTED.

I'm hoping this is a joke because we looked awful the entire game on defense and special teams. AWFUL. The only thing that stopped Utah was Utah.

Nice Thread....

Last I checked it's a team sport.....?

AA did not give up 63,64,65 yard TD's and a over 60 yard return that lead to another...?

But sure Blame 1 guy.....

But he failed every time he had the chance to perform.
No defending the other stuff, but Austen was awful.

And if I'm Tiller, and I still can't get in the game, I'm going in and saying, "Look, coach, I'm going to transfer where somebody gives a rip to develop me."

Offense fault. Defense got us turnovers offense executes then just lets the game go. Obviously Arnaud didnt throw good balls they were to high and behind the WR. plus when we needed 12 yards on a 3rd down AA threw it to the guy running the rout that went 5 yards, WTF

Tiller is still nursing an injury. Besides that, he has never shown in a game that he can make plays.

I hate to say this, but Austen hasn't shown a whole lot of that, either. He's terrible more often than not.

How many touchdown passes does Tiller have? I think it's funny how people think Tiller is the answer after we have seen him be completely ineffective against three teams, one of them a AA team.

I am done with this argument. It is ridiculous and it has become obvious reasoning will not be listened to in this discussion. It will continue to be Arnauds fault when our defense allows 54 points and our ST essentially allows 14. Arnaud could have played lights out and we still would have lost. Utah is physically superior at every single position except two linebacker spots. they are the only ones that would start for them and yes, that includes ARob and our whole Oline. I know this is hard to believe but our Oline is not good.
