Root for the Conference?

Your fanbase spends more time than any other fanbase I have encountered thumping their chest over the accomplishments of others.
U R an idiot ! U clearly didn't enroll at ISU but may have visited ISU, If you don't hope all big 12 teams do well in in the tounament.
I go for Big 12 except KU...and kind of WVU just because I hate their style of play and delaying the TV coverage of our games probably a combined 10 hours in the last two seasons.
I don't dislike KU nearly as much now as I did when Roy was their coach. He was a gigantic a-hole. I'm moving toward neutral on them. Also it's been a while now since we played a game that was completely fixed for them.

I hate KU when it comes to their fans talking about their team. But it's hard to hate on this years team. I don't want them to win another title to hang in their previous huge high schoolesque gym. But I want them to go far
As a native Iowan, I was going to break ranks and root for Northern Iowa against Texa$ (state pride sort of thing). Since WVU lost (not actually that heartbroken given that I detest their style of play), I feel like I need to root for the Horn$ just to keep the conference rep where it ought to be.

I guess everyone has their preferences. After the standing ovation for Georges, I am happy to see KU do well - 'cept against us, of course. So, I cheer for the conference, but can't get my head around cheering for Huggy Bear; the man is horrible, his style of basketball is awful, he works the refs so his dirty play does not draw the fouls they should. Glad they lost tonight.
